  • For your “Information Gathering”  and “Market Understanding” phases:

Our internet sites are designed to deliver a deep level of information for your free and unrestricted use… so browse to your heart’s content among files, links, the MLS Browser and even, the built-in tracker.


Here’s where we generally promise to respect your wishes about communication, like no phone calls unless you direct otherwise.  But we’re happy to respond to individual requests for more information…like more data on any single listing, evaluation of neighborhoods, schools and resale on specific listings, or setting up our in-house “tracker”…all by email if you prefer.


You may want to receive by US Priority Mail our Relocation Package…a lot smaller nowadays as we load more onto the internet.  It has items not easily posted here, such as maps and a magazine or two.


Debbie Carroll, our Relocation Director, supported by Mary Ades, will manage most of these responses.  But depending on timing and specific needs, we may want to tentatively assign a primary agent, too, to help in preservicing, especially if new builds are involved.


Remember, you’re in control of communications.  You decide if and when we should have phone conversations.   We’ll be glad to respond to you invitation.  This is part of the “No Hustle Pledge”!        And so is the following:

  • For the representation part

Please know that with the practice of exclusive buyer representation, clients' interests come first!  Ahead of the Sellers’ interests certainly, and even ahead of ours!  Always!  Without exception! And clients are always in control of the process, including their choice of representation. 


But we would like to perform "up front"...before you come to town, as if you were going to be our client and to give full service with that option open.  It's important that you get it. 


But we still expect no obligation to us, nor consent to our representation until we've had a chance to visit. All we ask is that when you actually come to town, we visit early.  That keeps the agency relationship intact, avoids conflicts about who showed what to whom, and enables us to give maximum service. 


If you're not comfortable when you get here, or at any time thereafter, you can walk away, with our good will.  That’s another promise.

  • For the “Somewhere in Time” part:

First, It would be helpful to "pre-qualify" with a lender or two, even on the phone.  Again, everything is held as confidential.  Pre-qualification usually enhances negotiating power, and helps more efficiently focus on appropriate targets.  We have a list of local lenders we like and trust that we would be pleased to send you.  Please also see the “Financing” section in the Library and in Homework.


Sometime…we request the return of one of the two “Service Options” via the round buttons on the Service Center.  One would register you as in the “Information-Gathering” phase, suggesting minimal interaction and promising, if you prefer, minimal interaction.

The other would provide in-depth information that we would ultimately need for a “Power Search”, before and during your visit, whenever that might be.


Please know the information is kept absolutely confidential, and that there are still no obligations in any way to our services!  (Have you seen our  “Privacy Statement” on the front page?)
