SCHOOL
INFORMATION
Information
from O'Fallon and Shiloh Schools

This section focuses
primarily on the O'Fallon area
but much more information about
schools in other good towns can be found on our web site, or in
our "Homework" series and in the "Library of Links".
O'Fallon is justly proud
of its public and private schools.
While O'Fallon area
schools enjoy that general reputation, we feel that in delivering
information to you here, our job is to point you to definitive data
without too much interpretation. So here, we're providing links
to major Web sites obviously authored by the schools themselves.
We've chosen to do theat here in a "Directory" of public
and private schools in the O'Fallon area, where Web Sites, when
available, are shown. Don't miss "School Reporting Services"
and "Clippings" for more local information. All of these
schools also welcome your direct inquiry, and are prepared to respond
to your questions and concerns ... call or e-mail them.
Immediately following
this schedule of local schools are "About Us" pages from
the O'Fallon Grade School District (90), the O'Fallon High School
District (203) and the Shiloh Grade Schools (85) ... printed here
for your convenience.
The two private schools
within the immediate area are included in this section. They are
St. Clare Catholic, and the New Enterprise Academy. You'll find them
in the directory below. (There's an extensive list of private schools
on our main Web site.)
A footnote of explanation
about administration: O'Fallon's schools are governed by several
different Boards of Education, and residents and prospective residents
need to understand the administration. The high school district
(# 203) encompasses all, and quite a bit of countryside. Two separate
school boards govern Shiloh Grade School (K-8), and Central School
(K-8). The balance of O'Fallon has one Board (District 90) governing
grade schools (K-6) and junior high schools, (7 and 8)
All of these administrative
sites contain nice "overviews" about mission and purpose
that you won't want to miss. They are the sites for District 90,
District 203, District 95 and District 104.

http://www.stclair.k12.il.us/
(St. Clair County ... O'Fallon and nearby communities)
http://www.madison.k12.il.us
(Madison County ... to the north, Troy and Edwardsville)
Each
has an immense amount of educational information about the
public and private schools in the counties they serve. (O'Fallon
is on the top tier of townships in St. Clair County, and O'Fallon
Township borders Madison County on the North. Several Madison
County school districts are nearby; Collinsville, Triad or
Troy, and Highland.)
Additionally,
the Illinois High School Association has a very detailed Web
site with lots of information on all of the high schools (most
in Illinois, public and private) that belong:
